Clear Blue Performs BI Assessment

New Jersey - February 2005 - Clear Blue performed a business intelligence assessment for a major manufacturer in the life sciences industry. The project focused on the method by which business information is stored and accessed. The BI Assessment project intends to develop a global BI Architecture and a three-year strategy for implementing this architecture. The Architecture that we developed and proposed meets the following criteria and goals: First, train, organize, and mentor the existing team of data and application architects into a coherent team that (1) understands data warehousing from both a technical and business view and (2) follows clear organization behavior patterns. Second, examine all existing major systems worldwide and document them into the "today" view or their world, then organize a coherent model which leverages existing synergies and provides a common data warehouse platform for "tomorrow". Third, develop a three-year strategy for implementing an architecture plan that takes them from "today" to "tomorrow". Fourth, develop a reusable, modular implementation methodology.
